How to sooth without food……
I was introduced to the idea 6 months ago of soothing without food. So I picked up crochet. It took me quite a while to get the basic stitches and to understand how putting them together what pattern works out.
6 months later I’m able to make hats and scarfs. I’ve got some stuffing and hoping to make my two children a buddy or two. However I struggle with ‘magic circle’. But it’s all a learning experience, very much like my journey to a healed life from binge eating.
Today, I’m kicking off with the intent to keep focused food wise, being sensible and continuing to love myself through out.
I’ve already had the crochet hook and yarn out! Distraction therapy but also now relational therapy ☺️
