It’s 03:30 and I’ve been awake since 02:00 only giving in at 03:00 and getting up. Initially I wondered if I might be hungry so I had half of my enormous portion of overnight oats with raspberries and blueberries. It was pleasant but I don’t think I was hungry. Fresh coffee next – no not that either.
I think I’m a bit nervous about my weight loss this week. Silly huh??!! And then I made the mistake of weighing myself. 1/2lb heavier than Tuesday but I don’t normally weigh myself at 03:00! 🙊🙊🙄
I had too many calories the early part of this week, stayed the same in my weigh in on Tuesday. I need to do what I know works: the slimming world plan. Drinking plenty of water, having lots of free and super free food which needs variation. Ensure regulation of my food intake.
I’m starting to crochet wee yellow t-shirt bunting for the tour of Britain which is passing through a near by village. I’ve finally found the ‘right’ kind of yellow. The women’s institute (WI) wool stocked at hobby craft. It’s a canary yellow and will be seen as those cyclists head round the twists of the local village. I feel a bit ‘proper’ that I’m using WI wool. I’m by no means an expert crocheter but I’m willing to try. I don’t have a pattern either so it’s trail and error with UK treble stitch on a 5mm hook.
I have to report that it’s lovely to crochet with. Double knit, 100g ball of yarn £2:30. Hobby craft are currently doing 3 for 2 offer on all wool and yarn.
I feel I’ve rambled through out this post. But then it is silly o’clock here in the UK.
